General Community Fund

Income from the General Community Fund is strategically distributed to benefit community projects, a responsibility overseen by our Board of Directors. This fund serves as a vital pillar, supporting the majority of our local community groups through a transparent grant application process.     Income distributed annually to Killarney Anglican Church

    Income distributed for benefit of KCI High School Sports

    Income distributed for cultural purposes and for any programs providing assistance to disabled persons
  • Dr. James Terekoff Memorial Fund
    Income distributed to Killarney Lakeland Regional Library

    Funded by Winnipeg Foundation with income used for operating costs

    Income distributed annually to Killarney Anglican Church

    Income distributed semi-annually to R.M. of Argyle on behalf of their Baldur Committee

    Income distributed semi-annually to Municipality of Harrison Park on behalf of their Sandy Lake Committee

    Income used for benefit of Killarney Hospital/Bayside Personal Care Home
  • Tri-Lake Health Centre Fund/Killarney Hospital – General Fund
    Income used for benefit of Killarney Hospital/Bayside Personal Care Home
  • Tri-Lake Health Centre/Killarney Hospital – Cobbledick Fund
    Income used for “Nurses Wish List” for Killarney Hospital/Bayside Personal Care Home

    Income used for benefit of palliative care and Bayside Personal Care Home purposes

Scholarship/Bursary

  • Emerald Rebekah Lodge Scholarship Fund
    Plaque for Killarney College Institute (KCI) Grade 8 student for highest academic average and plaque for KCI Grade 9 student for most improved in Math
  • Gary Campbell Memorial Scholarship Fund
    Income distributed to KCI graduate for academic excellence including participation in band and drama and pursuing post-secondary education
  • Collyer Memorial Scholarship Fund
    Income awarded to KCI graduate with highest academic average in 5 40S courses including English and pursuing Canadian university education
  • Edward (Ted) Sangster Memorial Bursary Fund
    Income awarded to KCI Grade 11 student for academic excellence in history
  • Killarney High School Scholarship Fund
    Awarded to KCI graduating students who are pursuing post-secondary university or college education
  • Frank & Ethel White Memorial Scholarship Fund
    Income awarded to KCI graduate for excellence in music/band; or for purchase of large instruments at request of KCI Bank Parents Association/Band Director
  • Charles Sanders Memorial Scholarship Fund
    Income awarded to KCI graduate entering a science faculty (agriculture) at university
  • Order of the Royal Purple Scholarship Fund
    Income awarded to KCI graduate for excellence in English
  • Dora Trump Estate Memorial Scholarship Fund
    Income awarded to KCI graduate pursuing post-secondary university education who has been involved in volunteer work within the community
  • Willard & Margaret Clements Memorial Scholarship Fund
    Income awarded to KCI graduate pursuing post-secondary university education entering the field of environmental science
  • Keith Heming Memorial Scholarship Fund
    Income distributed to students attending law school at a Canadian university
  • John Ross Memorial Scholarship Fund
    Income distributed to former KCI mature students returning to school to further their education
  • George Henry (Hank) Thomson Memorial Scholarship Fund
    Income distributed amongst former Killarney graduates attending university for a degree and who are continuing their university education after completion of first year university. Student must maintain a “B” average (Grade Point Average 3.0); maximum payment to any one student in any one year applies; and with maximum of five years of funding.
  • Kinsmen Club of Killarney Scholarship Fund
    Income distributed to KCI graduate who has demonstrated a commitment to community service. Scholarship determined by Kinsmen Club of Killarney.
  • Harold Parsonage Aviation Memorial Bursary Fund
    Income distributed to individual pursuing pilot training.
    Selection will be made by the Parsonage Family.
  • Myrna & Leo DeKezel Bursary Fund
    Income distributed to Baldur graduating student directly as directed by DeKezel Family
  • Killarney Agricultural Society Bridge Bursary Fund
    Income distributed to former KCI graduate or Lakeside Christian School graduate who has completed one year at an accredited college or university and is returning for a subsequent year. This Scholarship is not based on GPA, though student must have passed a majority of their previous year’s courses.
